Public Involvement Within SMC

The SMC has 3 public partners. These are members of the general public who offer a wider perspective to the assessment process.

Patients, carers and the general public are also represented through submissions of evidence from Patient Interest Groups. To help Patient Interest Groups with their submissions the pharmaceutical company may prepare a Summary of Information for Patients.
