Following an abbreviated submission
trospium chloride (Flotros) is accepted for use in NHS Scotland for symptomatic treatment of urge incontinence and/or increased urinary frequency and urgency as may occur in patients with overactive bladder (e.g. idiopathic or neurologic detrusor overactivity).
In patients for whom an immediate-release formulation of trospium chloride is an appropriate treatment, this preparation offers an alternative to an existing preparation at a lower cost.
